yo yo advice

Got the little blue ones sewed together. Thought I would show next to the coverlet so you could see the difference in size.  Used the green maker for these.
I made these so people couldn't look in my back door.  First I made them as big as the glass and it was too heavy. So I cut em back. I could get another magnetic rod and make a valance and then put these down farther. What do youns think? They would still be a gap between them jeez life in yoyo land. That door is on the same wall as my valance over my kitchen sink that I posted before.

  1. I'd give those Command Hooks a try and see if they would hold the weight better than magnets. I like the entire window covered instead of a valance. Would look great either way.

  2. That is cute! I think another magnetic rod with a valance is a great idea.

  3. I agree - I think this one down a little bit on the window with another rod with a valance on top would give you a bit more privacy - and match the valance over your kitchen sink - ;))

  4. A valance and a little curtain underneath may be the way to go. I think the little yo-yo's make for a great curtain. You can still get some light but feel like you have privacy too.

  5. You can't go wrong no matter what you do. I think your yo-yos are adorable anywhere. Oh, one more thing I think is you are addicted. It's a good addiction!

  6. I think Carol's idea about the Command Hooks is a good one. Then you could probably do a full "curtain" of them. And you may also add a sheer behind them.
